Mitsubishi heat pumps in Toronto from an authorized dealer. Hyper-Heat MSZ-FH wall heads for ductless and multi-zone, plus ducted Hyper-Heat central systems. 100% heating capacity at -15C, still running at -30C. We stock the common Mitsubishi parts, install to Mitsubishi’s manual, and register every system for manufacturer parts coverage, backed by our own workmanship warranty.
Which Mitsubishi systems do we install?
| Line | Format | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Hyper-Heat MSZ-FH single-zone | One wall head | Basement suites, additions, one room |
| Hyper-Heat multi-zone | 2-5 heads, one outdoor unit | Radiator and baseboard homes |
| Hyper-Heat ducted central | Air handler on existing ducts | Whole-home full-electric |
The MSZ-FH head is quiet, with strong low-temperature output and good humidity control in summer. Multi-zone outdoor units run several heads at different setpoints. The ducted Hyper-Heat central system is what went into the Rosedale oil conversion featured on our oil to heat pump rebate page.
Why Mitsubishi for Toronto?
Hyper-Heat is built around low-ambient performance. The inverter compressor ramps up as the temperature drops instead of cutting out, and the models we install are NEEP listed with published capacity at -15C. That’s what makes them cold-climate heat pumps, not just heat pumps. Newer lines are moving from R410A to R32.
What does Mitsubishi cost installed?
| System | Installed (before rebates) |
|---|---|
| MSZ-FH single-zone | $4,500-$7,000 |
| Multi-zone (2-3 heads) | $8,000-$15,000 |
| Hyper-Heat central 4-ton | $14,000-$22,000 |
Every quote includes the Manual J, the ESA permit, commissioning and registration. Rebates apply on listed models when the pre-audit is done first.
Century homes: Cabbagetown example
Victorian row house on old radiators, no AC. Three Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat heads routed through closets with exterior line hide, the boiler kept as backup. One day on site. The radiators barely ran the first winter. $13,200 installed. That’s the typical ductless job in downtown Toronto.
Parts and service
We stock the Mitsubishi parts that fail most often (boards, sensors, fan motors), so most repairs finish on the first visit. Manufacturer parts coverage is per Mitsubishi registration terms. We register on install day and keep the records.
Mitsubishi installs run across downtown Toronto, North York and the GTA. Comparing brands? See Daikin and Fujitsu. Or book the load calc and we’ll recommend the right Hyper-Heat format.
